Princess Mae Elizabeth Kennedy

Daughter of Tiffany and Charlie Kennedy of Harlingen, Texas, Princess Mae attends Texas State University in San Marcos.  Mae has been accepted to the McCoy School of Business at Texas State and is a member of the Delta Gamma sorority and the American Marketing Association-Texas State Chapter.  She graduated from Harlingen High School South in 2020. During her high school career, Mae was on the honor roll all four years, a two-time state qualifier for the Harlingen South Diving Team, and a member of the National Honor Society.  Mae was a past Little Princess and her parents were on the Algodon Board in the late 90’s.  Mae’s Great Grandfather Kennedy owned Tractor Implement in Harlingen, her Great Grandfather NeSmith worked for Toc Ulhorn as a foreman for over 25 years, and both of her grandfathers and father worked every summer of high school and college in cotton fields.  Her uncle and cousin own and operate Scaief farms.  Mae’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy, continue to raise and sell cattle on family land.

Princess Claudette Elizabeth Joe

Daughter of Tonnyre and David Joe of Raymondville, Texas, Princess Claudette attends University of Texas at Austin majoring in Biology and is a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.   Claudette graduated from Raymondville Early College High School in 2020 as the Valedictorian.  During her high school career, Claudette was the National Honor Society President, Varsity Cheer Captain, and a four-year All-American Cheerleader.  She also competes in Long Range Rifle Shooting at the state and national level.  Claudette’s parents both served on the Algodon Board and were Algodon Presidents in 2011.  She was also a Little Princess in 2012 and a 2020 Scholarship recipient.  Claudette is a sixth-generation rancher dating back to 1861.  Her grandparents, Claudette and Billy Thomas, were active in both farming and ranching across South Texas.  Thomas Ranch is home to Thomas Charolais, Inc., which is one of the largest purebred Charolais seedstock producers in the nation.
