He is a member of the Christian Engineering Leaders and the American Nuclear Society. William graduated from Lyford High School in 2019. As the 4th generation of a Rio Grande Valley farming family, William’s heritage is deep rooted in the cotton fields of Willacy County. In the 1930’s his great-grandfathers, W.J. Scogin and Herman Cramer, cleared land there to put into cultivation; his family continues to grow cotton on some of that same land today.
