Lady In Waiting

Krystin Ann Kilbourn

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe and Laurie Kilbourn of Raymondville,  Krystin attends Texas A&M University in Kingsville.  She is a graduate of San Perlita High School.  During high school, Krystin was a member of the National Honor Society, an FFA officer, 1st Team All District Softball and in the Lower Valley Cotillion Club.  Outside of school, she enjoys hunting, fishing and horseback riding.  Krystin's sister Lacey, was Princess in 2011.  Her grandfather and father farm cotton and grain in Cameron County.

Karsen Dyane    Kilbourn

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe and Laurie Kilbourn of Raymondville,  Karsen attends Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.  She is a graduate of San Perlita High School.  During high school, Karsen was a member of the National Honor Society, an FFA  Area X Vice President, and graduated as the Salutatorian.  Outside of school, she enjoys music production and physical fitness.  Karsen's sister, Lacey was Princess in 2011.  Her grandfather and father farm cotton and grain in Cameron County.

Cara Lisette Cash

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Todd and Michelle Cash of Harlingen,  Cara attends Texas A&M University in College Station.  She is a graduate of Harlingen High School.  During high school, Cara was involved in both FFA and 4H as well as the National Honors Society.  In college, she is active in the Poultry Science Club and a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo AgVetnure Intern.  During her free time, she enjoys playing guitar and singing.  Cara's great grandparents, Harvery and Retie Cash, began farming in Williacy County in 1936 and her grandfather, Lyndon Cash, was on the board for the Sebastian Coop Gin.

Caroline Lenae Miller

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James and Becky Miller of Harlingen,  Caroline attends Blinn College in Bryan, Texas.  She is a graduate of Harlingen High School.  During high school, Caroline was a member of the National Honor Society, Varsity Cheerleader Captain and Mardi Gras Princess.  Outside of school, she enjoys fishing, hunting and going to the beach as well as volunteering at the Aggieland Humane Society.  Caroline's paternal grandfather farmed cotton in Cameron County and her maternal great grandfather farmed and ranched in the Texas Hill Country.

Laura Rita Macmanus

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brian and Nancy Macmanus of Harlingen, Laura attends Texas A&M University in College Station.  She is a graduate of Harlingen High School.  She was the captain of the Varsity Tennis Team, 4H Cameron County Council President, the school mascot and graduated Salutatorian.  In her spare time, Laura enjoys hunting and singing.  Her great grandfather, Anthony Shckenbrock, farmed cotton and corn in Willacy County and her grandfather, Gerald Macmanus, had a cattle feedlot and worked for the Soil Conservation Service.

The Algodon club is  a non-profit, civic organization that promotes the cotton industry in the Rio Grande Valley through civic engagement and media publicity.
